Mat-files with processed data

latlon - contains the parameters lat_ (latitude), lon_ (longitude), dist_c (along track horizontal distance) and depth_c (three along track depth transects). The parameters are column vectors (three columns for depth_c) with 1236 rows, one for each profiler cast. These parameters are constructed with this script.

julian - contains the parameter julian_ (Julian days). The parameter is a column vector with 1236 rows, one for each profiler cast. These parameters are constructed with this script.

epsi5dm - contains the parameters epsi (dissipation), dens (density) and N2 (buoyancy frequency). The parameters are in matrices with 240 rows, representing 120 metres depth and 0.5 metres resolution. The matices contain 1236 columns, one for each profiler cast, though not all casts/columns contain data. These parameters are constructed with this script.

gf09_STA - conatins the structure ADCP, which contains data from the ship-mounted ADCP (Short Time Averaged).

gf09_LTA - conatins the structure ADCP, which contains data from the ship-mounted ADCP (Long Time Averaged).

Udev -

M2_300khz_5min - contains the parameters decday, u, v and z, all from mooring 2.

M3_300khz_5min - contains the parameters decday, u, v and z, all from mooring 3.

sigma - contains the parameters sigma_v (density levels for contour plots) and sigma_vs (fewer levels). Also contains the parameter densAv (section of average density) Note that densAv here has 180 columns in order to be directly comparable with a density matrix of that size. The densAv plotted in avdens_gf0906 has only 45 columns.

mycolormap - contains the colormap mycolormap.
